Service terms
A thoughtful start needs clear terms.
The service, your choices, and the boundaries of the Pepper beta.
Effective date:
The service and its operator
Pepper is operated by John Nesgoda in Texas, United States of America. It helps individual professionals organize their own work notes, request summaries and follow-up drafts for selected saved Cloud notes, and review proposed actions before saving them as tasks.
The iPhone and iPad app is in beta through TestFlight. An initial US App Store release in English is in preparation. This website provides product, support, and privacy information; it does not offer a public app download or account-signup form.
Contact support@pepperwork.app with questions about Pepper or these terms.
Your content and decisions
You remain responsible for the content you add and for having permission to use and process it. Keep passwords, sign-in codes, and information you are not authorized to share out of your notes and support messages.
AI output can be incomplete or incorrect. Review summaries, suggested actions, and follow-up drafts before relying on them. Suggestions become tasks only when you accept them. Pepper prepares drafts for you to edit, copy, or share; you decide where to use them. It does not send messages or deliver action reminders for you.
Accounts and appropriate use
Use your own account and keep sign-in codes private. Contact support if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. Use Pepper lawfully; do not use it to harm others, disrupt the service, or access another person’s information.
Device work and native Cloud work are separate, and signing in does not automatically merge them. The hosted web pilot is also separate. The beta can change or be interrupted; export important work you want to keep.
Saved work and deletion
Saved notes, summaries, follow-up drafts, and accepted tasks are kept until you delete them. We do not automatically purge them solely for account inactivity. The privacy policy explains local storage, provider records, backups, and separate support correspondence.
Use My Data in the selected Device or Cloud workspace to export or delete that workspace’s work. In Cloud, Delete my Pepper account is a separate action that permanently deletes the native sign-in account and associated Pepper data. It does not delete your Device workspace, hosted web pilot, ChatGPT account, or copies you exported or shared.
If deletion or local cleanup cannot be confirmed, follow the app’s warning and contact support. Do not assume every provider log, email record, or backup is erased immediately. For assistance, email from your account address when the request concerns Cloud; we may need to confirm ownership.
No purchase offer
This website and the current beta offer no paid plan, free trial, checkout, or public App Store download. No price or paid usage allowance is offered here. Any future purchase screen must show the actual price, billing period, included usage, renewal conditions, and any trial before you choose to buy.
If Apple subscriptions become available, deleting a Pepper account or removing the app will not cancel them. Use Apple’s subscription settings to manage cancellation. Apple’s applicable purchase and refund procedures will apply to App Store transactions.
Apple distribution and updates
For Apple distribution using its standard license, review the Apple Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. TestFlight also has its own terms and privacy notice. This information website does not authorize a purchase or ask you to accept an app license.
When the published service terms or privacy policy change, the updated page will identify its effective date.
Private-beta terms additions
Effective November 2, 2026. These additions describe the private beta; they do not announce a public app release.
Scope and operator
Pepper is operated by John Nesgoda in Texas, United States of America; support@pepperwork.app. This US-English private beta is for John's invited testing of optional Chat and text capture. Availability depends on separate enablement and device support. These private-beta additions supplement the general service terms on this page. These additions do not offer a public download, paid Chat plan, free trial or checkout.
Your review and choice
Use content you have permission to process. Keep passwords, sign-in codes and unauthorized private information out of Chat, notes and support messages. AI replies, extracted text, proposed actions and note edits can be wrong or incomplete. Check names, dates, numbers, facts and source context before relying on or saving them.
You choose what to record, scan, attach, send and save. Reviewed capture text can become an unsent Chat attachment or a note draft; it is not automatically submitted to OpenAI. Chat sends only after sharing is on and you tap Send. Proposals require separate review and Add/Save. Pepper does not automatically send external messages, apply proposed changes or perform actions on your behalf. No on-device generative assistant or new complete-export/snapshot service is included in this proposal.
Private Chat allowance
The approved private pilot is for John's invited account only, with up to 50 reserved Chat turns per UTC calendar month and no carry-over. This allowance requires separate enablement and verification; it is not publicly available. Each server-reserved turn counts, including a failed, uncertain or explicitly closed attempt. A context preview or a request confirmed never to have reserved a turn is not a reserved Chat turn. A useful or successful answer is not guaranteed.
The existing shared maximum of 10 native AI requests per account per UTC day applies across Chat and note-summary requests. The private service also has a shared limit of 80 native AI requests per UTC calendar month. Shared service capacity can pause requests before the monthly allowance is reached. No unlimited usage, top-ups, automatic retries or guaranteed availability is offered. Keep an uncertain request's original status record. Clearing Chat or closing a request does not refund a reserved turn. Deleting personal data does not restore the operator's already-consumed spending or shared global attempt count.
This private Chat allowance is separate from the owner-approved future Pepper Plus offer of US$4.99/month for 50 note-summary generations. It does not add paid Chat to that offer or change its summary accounting. Purchases and public paid Chat remain off. Any future paid offer requires its own actual purchase disclosure; this private pilot starts no subscription or charge.
Saved work and retention
Saved notes and accepted actions remain until deletion. Unsaved Chat replies/proposals/source references can be retrieved from Pepper Cloud for up to 24 hours, followed by access-time cleanup rather than a promised 24-hour physical-erasure deadline. Already displayed app text has no 24-hour expiry timer and may remain in memory until you clear Chat, change workspace/account or end the app session. Saved notes and copies you make are not removed by that Cloud retrieval limit. Account-linked request identifiers/digests/status/usage remain until confirmed Cloud data/account deletion. Separate provider retention and copies you save or share are not erased by clearing the Chat view. Read the accompanying privacy additions and the existing privacy policy for those distinctions.
If a request, deletion or local cleanup is uncertain, use the displayed status/warning and contact support rather than assuming success or repeating it. The beta can change or be interrupted; review important work before relying on it. Existing Device/Cloud separation and support terms continue.
Read the privacy policy or contact Pepper support.
